MASTER'S GUILD The Master's Guild is a guild for... well... Masters. You may apprentice yourself to one at a time, learning valuable skills from your newfound sensei. Or maybe not so valuable. In any case, you must prove yourself worthy to the master in question before they will teach you. The requirements for learning their skills are laid out before each one. Masters can also be taken in place of your Merc slot, and will grant their student certain passive bonuses in such a case. This bonus is detailed below the Master's description. Skill Name, Cost if any Desc Effect How to Unlock All skills are learned using the Training System as if by a teacher of maximum level in the art --Durandel-- A curious man living in a hut on a back street of Wyndia, he claims to be nothing special and teaches effectively useless battle techniques. Has no requirements to be apprenticed to. Grants no bonus. Unmotivate Sit in place so lazily that the mere sight of you inspires such laziness in others. SPwr Check versus a random opponent. Success destroys one of their Act. Do nothing for an entire round. Feign Swing Take a practice swing with your equipped weapon. Does absolutely nothing, but only costs half an Act. Backhand Strike a vicious but nonfatal blow with the back of the hand. Normal attack, but cannot reduce the target's HP below 1.
