Named not for incessantly selling mushrooms, though it does, or the mushroom topped building, though it is, or even the mushroom topped founder, which he is. It's in the Mushroom Kingdom, hence Mushroom Shop. Silly.
Thriff T. still runs the place with a zeal, and is happy to finally be able to offer top quality goods at the same recession-low prices.
Mushroom: A precious, precious mushroom! The single most important staple agricultural product of the Kingdom. It's genetic structure is unstable and causes it to grow quickly and live long after it's been picked. Don't mind the eyes...
Level 3 Mushroom, 3 Turn Duration. Grants Big status effect. 25 Coins.
Fire Flower: A curious plant native to the region resembling a dandylion, though various subspecies have been discovered with different appearances but the same basic effect. Most forms, including this one, are not actually eaten.
Grants use of a 0 MP, +2 FIRE spell for SPwrII Bonus Turns. 15 Coins.
Raccoon Leaf: An innocuous reddish brown, crinkly leaf. Thought to occur on trees where Tanuki have lived for a long time, but for whatever reason, they're all over the place.
Using this leaf gives you an awesome tail until you take a hit. This tail grants Level 2 Fly, provided you run at least 4 Units before you take off. It can also be used as a +2 Bashing attack, which requires a Martial Arts proficiency to use without penalty, but can be useful in a pinch. 20 Coins
Starman Dust: A small bag of powder containing the sparkling dust left by the bouncing Star Man that has become so rare these days. Sprinkle it on yourself and roll 4d7. Increases Pwr, SPwr, SPwrII, Def, SDef, Spd, or Acc by 10-40, depending on what you roll. 15 Coins.
Shroomwood: A block of wood with a certain aroma to it. It has a spongey consistancy similiar to Balsa wood, and is fairly light. It works well against bludgeoning weapons, and by the same token, makes an excellent one itself when compacted. It's also easy to use.
Level 2 Wood, 2 Weight. Effect Code 020203. 8 Coins.
1UP Shroom Wedge: A single slice of the precious green mushrooms treasured in the Mushroom Kingdom.
Level 5 Mushroom, Duration: Instant. Gives the taker the precious 1UP Reserve status effect, at a 3% HP recovery. 20 Coins.
Shroom Cut: A mushroom wedge with a savory flavor and powerful restorative properties. Has the unusual property of healing more the weaker you are, making it great for beginners.
Level 1 Mushroom, Duration: Instant. Hp Recovery equal to 120/Total Level. 10 Coins.
Syrup Stripe: A single candied stripe of delicious syrup, put on a thin leaflet of sugar-paper. Has the unusual property of recovering more MP the weaker you are, making it great for beginners.
Level 1 Sweet, Duration: Instant. MP Recovery equal to 100/Total Level. 15 Coins.
Tiny Bobomb: A small windup bobomb, the kind that Mario used to encounter before they started turning sentient. It's very well mannered. When activated, it walks forward 1 Unit per turn for three turns and then explodes, dealing 40 AoE Blast damage. 20 Coins.
Mystery Object: There's a 70% chance that it's a cake. Otherwise, it's just a rock.
70% chance of 20% HP/MP recovery. No Refunds! 15 Coins.
Monogrammed Cap: A handsome cap in whatever 2 colors you like, custom embroidered with the first letter of your name. Alone, it has very little effect, but it serves as a base for other items and causes transformations when combined.
+1/+1 defense, 15 Coins
Spore Belt: A nice belt, white with red spots along it's length. The buckle is shaped like the face of a Mushroom O.o
Has 3 slots for items, and items placed in it are 'enriched' for every 100 Damage dealt. 20 Coins
White Gloves: A pair of the white gloves that everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom loves wearing so much. The magnificently comfortable gauntlets are pleated on each knuckle with a lump of tough cloth sewn into said pleat, making them sturdy despite their flexibility.
Adds +4 damage to Hammer attacks, +3 to magic that is fired from the hands, and +2 to punches. 20 Coins.
Ability Badge: A peculiar orange badge with a question mark emblazoned on the front, which changes to a picture fitting whatever it is keyed to.
When you buy it, you key it to one 'canon' move that you have (it must be an actual move in the game you're from). That move, from now on, will cost 3/4 MP. Accessory! 25 Coins
Shoes: A pair of nice leather shoes with great arch support. The thick soles absorb a huge amount of impact.
Jump attacks boosted by 8, Jump skill boosted by 1. 30 Coins.
TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLEDenim: A square of blue cloth polymer that is durable, light, and comfortable in any weather. If the fox god wore pants, this is what they would be made of =D.
