The new heroism works differently than before. Everyone still has access to its power, but the core differences are as follows;
1) Heroism is now shared among all characters a player runs. So in essence, it is an item that the PLAYER 'holds', not the characters, though they are calling on it ICly.
2) Heroism now has different levels of charge, with different levels of potency. Each level has a separate tally of charges available, and using any ability drains one of these ticks from the appropriate level.
Option B: Using an ability drains its Level from the total Heroism charge, which caps at 7/8
3) With the new rules in place, it is possible to make Heroism a more customizable deal. Abilities or items may be keyed up to it (though obviously, try not to overdo it with this) in order to make them either more potent or less expensive. Not the least of these is the Ultimate Weapon and Ultimate Attack functions, detailed below (For the sake of balance, and to keep such things from replacing Ultimates, no item or move can cost more than a single charge of Heroism)

As was always the case, using Heroism is completely free other than the charge cost. It uses no Act, MP, or time.
Note; Ultimate Ability can only be used once per character per battle regardless of the level used.
Level 1
Dodge This! - Forces enemy to Dodge the next attack that comes its way, if they are capable of doing so and don't attempt to Interrupt.
Take This! - Forces enemy to Defend the next attack that comes its way, if they are capable of doing so and don't attempt to Interrupt.
Decisive Victory! - Can be triggered when you kill an enemy with a counter attack (Any attack preformed after being struck or dodging an attack). Stuns all enemies briefly.
Last Ounce of Power! - Can be triggered at 15% or less HP. Double one stat besides Defense/SDefense for one round.
Last Stand! - Can be triggered when you reach 0 HP. Make one non-healing action before dying, Act and MP free.
Ultimate Weapon 1- Summons Ultimate Equipment for one action.
Level 2
Desperate Resolve!! - Can be triggered when at 15% HP or lower. All costs cut to half for one round, except Act costs less than 2 (Combo excluded).
Stunning Retort!! - Engage an enemy in banter. Effect depends on what is said and RP skill.
Inspire!! - Can be triggered when you hit 0 HP. Make a speech before KO that boosts the stats of all allies. Content of the speech decides which stat is boosted.
Cocky Grin!! - Can be triggered when you hit 0 HP. Recovers 1 HP and gives one round of Invincibility.
Til the End of Time!! - Share a brief conversation with a character you share a dual tech or other such fusion attack with. The tech/attack will be enhanced depending on the contents of the conversation.
Level 3
Urgent Skill!!! - Make one attack, choosing the result of every dice roll that the move entails
Final Blow!!! - Make any one attack you can afford at the time. If you deal at least half the target's current HP in damage, they are slain instantly. Comboes count as 'one' attack, but only the last blow gets the benefit of the killing blow effect. S/Defense, Speed, and Priority are halved for this attack.
Just In Time!!! - Can be triggered when an enemy attacks an ally. Make a Speed check VS that enemy. Success results in Interrupting with an instant critical hit. Failure still interrupts, but only with normal damage. Either way, no Act is used.
Ultimate Weapon 2 - Summons Ultimate Equipment for one round.
Ultimate Attack 1 - Uses ones Ultimate Attack in its weakest state. Still quite painful, this attack does 1/3 its intended effect and cannot be dodged, defended, or reduced.
Level 4
Endless Blows!!!! - Gives the user 8 Act and removes the restrictions on attack types and number per round. User -must- attack to Exhaustion.
Ultimate Attack 2 - Uses ones Ultimate Attack in its medium state. An exceptional attack that deals 2/3 of its intended effect and cannot be dodged, defended, or reduced.
Level 5
Ultimate Attack 3 - Your best at its best! A simply devastating attack that cannot be dodged or blocked, nor its damage reduced.
Ultimate Weapon 3 - Summons Ultimate Equip for the entire fight.
