Super Smash Brothers: NSF - The Maverick Wars Mode To Unlock: Beat Story Mode on Very Hard with any X-series Reploid without continues. TMW is a special mode which functions much like Adventure Mode from SSBM, except the levels are modeled similarly to MMX stages (though they are shorter, and have different layouts), and after each Adventure Stage is a battle with one of several Mavericks. You may use any reploid character, which affects the stage order and some of the bosses. You only get one stock, and the difficulty is equivalent of Very Hard. ARMORED ARMADILLO
Stamina: 500
- Battle Stage Design - A large stage with suspended rock formations and a ceiling to prevent being sent off the top end. It is roughly twice as tall as Flatzone, and three times as wide. It is only possible to die from being send off the left or right sides of the screen. There is a large gap between the edge of the floor, and the edge of the map to allow for the player to attempt to return. The rock formations can be used as platforms, and are solid. They are scattered throughout the arena's air, and are randomly placed. If they are too severely damaged, they will shatter, and a new rock formation will appear elsewhere. If Armored Armadillo gets too close to the left or right sides of the screen, barriers will appear and act as walls for him to bounce off, and even prevents him from being knocked off the stage. The player will pass through these walls, however. There are ledges the player may grab to return if knocked too far. Items are normal, but many items, including Super Smash Emblems and recovery and invincibility items, are turned off.
- Specials - -- Rolling Shield 1- Curls up into an armored ball, impervious to any form of damage, and rushes straight along the ground. Has slow moving speed, but incredible knockback and damage. Will travel a long distance, and will bounce off the walls when they form. -- Rolling Shield 2- Moves at a 45 degree angle from the ground in the direction being faced, and will collide with any walls, cielings, or rocks in the way, dealing damage to all in his path and bouncing off solid objects and the player. Any rock objects struck will emit rubble in random directions to the sides, above, and below the rock, damaging the player only. -- Purple Garden- Armored Armadillo's personal sword, can be used to initiate marth-like combos. Low smash, but can hit up to 9 times. -- Sonic Cannon- Armored Armadillo's helmet pops open and can be charged to various levels. Behaves like Samus' charged attack, but pulsates in size. Breaks Shield Bubbles at full charge.
Supersmash!: Trembling Earth- Initiates as soon as Armored Armadillo's Stamina falls below 100. Initiates a Rolling Shield 2, but at higher speeds, and less smash, dealing slightly higher damage. Rocks emit much more rubble, and larger pieces as well. When he finishes, Armored Armadillo will always be in the direct center of the screen (no rocks will ever form there), and then let out a massive sphere of energy damaging the player heavily if they are too close, but with hardly any smash. After this ends, all rocks are destroyed and emit debris as if struck by Rolling Shield 2 normally, and then the rocks reform a moment later.
- Throws - None used.
- General Stats -
Attack Power: 5 Smash Power: 4 Attack Speed: 3 Charge Speed: 4 Combo: 3
Speed: 4 Jump: 3 Double Jump: 2 Weight: 7 Balance: 1
- Speech - GENERIC ENTRY "Let's fight!" "I'm only following orders. Nothing personal."
GENERIC EXIT - Low Damage - "Is that all you've got?!"
Medium Damage: "You're strong!"
High Damage: "My defense was cracked? Well, I'll be..."
Loss: "... I lost with honor."
APPEARANCE: Armored Amradillo, Megaman X-style, except with the addition of his famous Purple Garden katana.
- QUIRKS - Perfect Defense- Armored Armadillo's Bubble Shield is intense, and slowly degrades at a rate much smaller than other characters. Armored Armadillo cannot be grabbed, except while his bubble shield is in use. He breaks free much quicker than most characters, and his weight is analogous to someone constantly in Metal Box form.

STORM EAGLE
Stamina: 350
- Battle Stage Design - On top of an airship in the sky, with a flat surface, much like Final Destination, but roughly 25% longer. There are no platforms. There is no edge that can be grabbed. No items appear at all in this stage.
- Specials - -- Storm Tornado- Storm Eagle flies to one edge of the stage, faces inward, and fires a tornado from his weapon. It deals no damage, but pushes the opponent rapidly. If damage is too high, they will be flung off the side with no chance to return. -- Dive Bomb- Storm Eagle floats high above the stage (well out of reach of double jumps, but triple jumps will reach him), and then dive bombs at the player and rises after each time. He does this 2+((350-Stamina Remaining)/50) times and is very difficult to avoid unless at full speed. -- Wing Missiles- Sends out a wave of feathers that fall rapidly to the ground and act like Proximity mines the moment they hit the floor. They vanish after 5 seconds. They cannot be caught. When Stamina is below 150, he will send out two waves of feathers. -- Storm Drive- Flies above the player and begins to charge. If he finishes, he will pause for a moment before unleashing a downward-aimed Storm Tornado that gradually expands as it continues. If it hits, it sends the player into the ground in the "knocked down" position, and dealing countless hits that amounts to roughly 30 damage per second, for five seconds, if they take the full hit. Shreds through Bubble Shields, making rolling or running the only defense.
Supersmash!: Graceful Heavens- When Stamina drops down to 100 or less, Storm Eagle will immediately use this ability. He swoops in a gentle arching pattern from one edge of the stage to the other, leaving behind a trail of feathers in his wake. After he finishes, they turn inwards towards the center of the stage, and launch themselves in waves. The first wave has two halves of feathers, the lower half coming from the right, and the upper half coming from the left. To safely avoid this half, the player must time their jump so that they pass between the upper and lower halves. The second wave is the same, but the lower half comes from the left, and the upper half from the right. The third wave is where all the remaining feathers all converge at the same time to the center of the platform, making it extremely difficult to dodge. Each feather that hits the player will stick without dealing damage or flinching until the conclusion of the third wave, at which point all the stuck feathers will detonate. Damage and smash depends on the number of feathers at the time of detonation.
- THROWS - -- Down- Throws the opponent to the floor and opens up with a faceful of tornado, dealing several rapid hits of low-smash damage. -- Forward- A quick Storm Tornado to drive the opponent back, but deals some damage instead of no damage. Not as potent as a real Storm Tornado. -- Back- A simple judo toss. -- Up- Tosses the player up and then sends a storm tornado directly into them, causing them to fly up. Distance depends on current damage they have. Could be fatal.
- General Stats -
Attack Power: 3 Smash Power: 3 Attack Speed: 3 Charge Speed: 4 Combo: 1
Speed: 5 Jump: 5 Double Jump: 7 (Indefinite Flight- Master Hand style) Weight: 4 Balance: 1
- Speech - GENERIC ENTRY "I don't want to do this, but I must..."
GENERIC EXIT - Low Damage - "The eagle soars above you!"
Medium Damage: "I'm sorry, but your best isn't enough..."
High Damage: "I've never met another who could fly without wings! Incredible!"
Loss: "... I lost... So that you can stop this madness!"
APPEARANCE: Storm Eagle, as seen in MMX1 and MHX!
- QUIRKS - Storm Eagle cannot use Bubble Shield, but his speed and flight make up for it.
