ABILITIES
Racial Ability - Vampirism: Kain is a Vampire. This gives him a nearly insatiable lust for blood, manifesting as 'Blood Points'. Kain loses 1 Blood Point per Act used, and 2 per round of combat. He can expend them freely to increase HP, MP, or Act by the amount used up, but if he runs out, he will start taking 10 HP and MP damage every time he would normally use up a Point, and all of his stats will decrease by 5. If Kain is killed by lack of blood, he is considered Superdead. Kane takes double damage from Water, and is harmed even by mundane water, and a Crit with a wooden, Piercing weapon will instantly kill him.
Kain can also change into a Bat by expending 1 Act, which cannot use any of his specials, items, or swords, but has Level 4 Flight.
Hero Ability - Soul Reaver's Master: Kain's greatest claim to fame is the ability to use the Soul Reaver, a sword of immense dark power. He also falls only half a unit per action, and is immune to falling damage unless thrown.
Also grants Level 1 Broadsword Prof
Level 1 Telekinesis: For 1 Act and 10 MP, throw up to 5 pounds of material or push up to 20.
Ranged Blood Suck: Can only be used on targets with blood or some sort of liquid flowing through them. A spectacularly gorey attack where Kain rips the life giving fluid from them in a wide stream, drinking it down. This stream cannot be cut off mid-move, so Kain must drink all of it if he starts the attack. 10 MP, +6 DARK move. Kain regains HP and Blood Points equal to the Spell Damage done. This move ignores armor and defense, but total damage done is halved. If the target is griviously wounded, recently dead, or there's disembodied, sufficiently fresh blood in the area, Kain can use this move Act-free to suck it up.
Thunderbolt: A simple bolt of thunder shot from the hand. +6 LIGHTNING, 4 MP.
Cadaverous Laceration: "Executing a quick flurry of sweeping strikes, I am easily able to overwhelm multiple lesser opponents as their blood sprays across the air."
Expending his entire rounds action, Kain can execute a flurry of sword swipes on his opponent/s with the Soul Reaver. They must be in reach of the soul reaver.
Repel: 20 Mp. "Invoking this spell cloaks me under a protective aegis. Whatever spell is cast at me will be reflected back at the caster, leaving me unharmed. It will only last for a short time, however, before leaving me vulnerable once more."
Kain can surround himself in a magical force field that will reflect any magical attacks back at the caster. It lasts for one round.

Augmented Critical: Knowledge of how to strike vital points accurately. Multiplies Crit Chance on any attack by 1.5.

Soul Reaver - A legendary two handed sword forged ages ago by a powerful vampire. +20 CUTTING weapon, requires both hands to wield. Can be Charged like a buster for 3 MP per turn, to increase it by +1 Cutting per turn, for a max of 5 turns.
This weapon devours the souls of those it strikes, dealing half of it's weapon damage to MP as well as HP, and gaining 1 Soul Point for every blow struck with it, 2 for a Crit, and 10 if a finishing blow is struck with it. If a crit finishing blow is struck, it gains 20. Finishing blows struck with this blade inflict Superdead.
If 10 are gathered, the weapon suddenly snaps to life and gains +10 to damage for the next 10 turns, and damage increase through Charging it is doubled. Once this time is over, the weapon will be back at 0 Soul Power.
If Kain chooses to immedietely expend the time, he can preform a massive AoE4 +50 DARK type explosion attack, or he can choose to fuse the 10 points into a Soul Sphere for use in IC, which are held in Soul Reaver's hilt. These are -best- used enhancing Soul Reaver itself, but can be used in other things.
