-MASSIVE REHAUL TIME IS NOW KTHX-
Okay, I need a little help here. I can't do all this crap by myself, and even if I enlisted Spyke and Marco it would be a daunting as hell task and I just don't like it. So, what I need all you lovely people to do is go into the big list of sheets (The Character Sheets board. You know, the one that's usually password protected), into your private section that you now have courtesy of Spyke, and check your sheets for accuracy. I'm doing this largely based on the honor system, but if I find out you have cheated in some way, god save you. If you peek at someone elses sheets, shame on you. These are the things you're looking for.
First of all make sure that your level is correct and up to date.
Make sure that every character has proper HP/MP/Act totals. Keep in mind that every 1 Act counts for 20 Points, so every fourth of one is 5. The amount of points total you should have is:
ORIGINAL CHARACTER: 175 + ([Level - 4]*5)
HERO CHARACTER: 175 + ([Level - 8]*5)
VILLAIN CHARACTER: 175 + ([Level - 11]*5)
In short, make sure that (HP + MP + [{Act-3} * 20]) is equal to the above formulas.
Also, make sure that the Power/SPower/SPowerII/Ect. stat totals are correct. Keep in mind that this total is SEPERATE from HP/MP/Act. This is the formula for -any- character.
155 + ([Level - 4] * 5)
In short, make sure your stat total, without Job Class or equipment, is equal to that.
If for some reason you have more than this, that you EARNED somehow, or that comes from equipment, make sure it is notated by an entry in the Skills list.
Make sure that you have the proper number of Ability slots. This varies -slightly- among characters, but the formula is
Originals will have 3 + (Level/3), not counting Racial abilities.
Heroes will have 2 + (Level/3), not counting Racial abilities or Hero abilities.
Villains will have 1 + (Level/3), not counting Racial or Villain abilities..
ROUND DOWN when you divide level by 3.
If you have skills that were bought with out of battle training, make a note of them.
If for some reason you have bonus slots, make a note of it.
Keep in mind that passive skills take half a slot unless specifically noted.
Keep in mind that -straight- upgrades to moves take half a slot. A STRAIGHT upgrade does not change how the move is preformed, in any way. It only adds effectiveness.
If you're missing abilities, including if you recently gained slots and havn't reported to me, make a note of it and what you want to put in there.
Okay, here's the tricky part. Reporting in.
After checking all these things, make a -seperate post- in -your section of the board-. Not your cubby, your section in the GM sheet database. Put the names of all the characters that need work in ALL CAPS in the TOPIC of this post, then type out all the changes that need to be made in the body of it, including new skills you want and have slots for. Make a seperate post in the same thread for every character that needs work, clearly labled with which post is for which character. While you're at it, post any abilities or items that are unstatted in the proper char's post on the thread you make..
If by some miracle all your sheets are fine, put "NOTHING NEEDED", "ALL FINE", "A'OKAY", or something like that in the topic instead so I know you've looked.
Oh, and a little side note. If you don't have your own copy of your sheet for whatever reason, nab one.
Any questions, PM me.
Thank you very much for your time. I know this seems like a lot to ask of you, but keep in mind that you only have to do it 3-6 times. If me, Marco, and Spyke had to do this for every sheet, we would be doing it upwards of 20 times EACH. So please have a heart and remember that overworked foxes cry.
Think of the foxes.
