Offset by a black outfit with orange trimming. He is occopinied by a ghost samurai from his earth's feudal era a legendary swordsman named Amidamaru.
General Histroy: Yoh Asakura though he looks like your average every day teen the underlying truth is quite different. Yoh is a shamen a person who is able to commune with the spirits.
In his world he fought in something known as the shamen tournament. An event that decided the right of passage to the next king of spirits. This person would have the power to control the world
as they see fit. This tournament did not come to a close as Yoh and his allies fought against the evil forces of Yohs ancestor and in this time peroid his twin brother Zeeke. During this final battle in the final
momments between Yoh and Zeekes battle just as Zeekes body was being destroied. The strange warping of the area around the current king of spirits expanded clashing with there own energies. The result never is unknown in that world
but since that momment Yoh has dissapered his location unknown. Shamen fighters like Yoh have the gift to bound with spirits in Yoh's case his most common unison is with his guardian ghost Amidamaru. A very basic technique for any shamen
is that of spirit unity. As the shamen tournament progressed Yoh learned various forms of spirit unity combination threw the use of Furiyoku (Spirtual Energy(mp)). Enter....Yoh..Asakura & Amaidamaru.

he defeated 1000 foes with its edge.

The spirit of a legendary samurai that inhabits Yoh. The spirit is very powerful, and the two are so closely bonded that he doesn't take up one of the two slots Yoh has, nor does his level count against Yoh's limit. Unison with Amidamaru costs 10 MP per round and gives the following effects:
+8/+8 Armor, +6 to any Swords used.

All-Swords Proficiency
Perfect Two-Weapon Fighting (Katana Only): Fight with a second Katana without penalty. Attacking with both at once deals the full weapon damage of both weapons, along with any status effects.

Attack: Adds weapon damage to attack moves by swinging himself.
Support: Protects Yoh, making Support moves un-interuptable
Move: Can normal attack while moving without penalty.
Fenn: An adorable fox spirit, pure black with shining black eyes and a cute button nose. Professes to being 'new', but can't seem to explain it.
Level 7 spirit Unison costs 1 extra Act and 7 MP per round
Unison increases Unbreakable Dodge by 5, grants +5/+5 Armor, increases Speed, SPwr, and SDef by 5, and grants Claw Proficiency.
Also grants Yoh immunity to and proficiency with Illusion and Theft moves.
MEDIUM SUPPORTS
Attack: 15% Steal chance added.
Support: Kicks up a cloud around Yoh when he uses support moves, so enemies can't tell what they are.
Move: Leaves behind an afterimage and turns Yoh invisible.
Racial Ability: Spirit Unity
This is the ability of a shamen to allow there own souls to house the spirits of others. In yoh's case this is most commonly Amidamaru. The user gains the knowledge and skill
of the spirit as well as there guidance in battle. The outcome is the shamen being able to use skills they never could before as they are guided by the spirit in battle. Reflexes,Strength,Coordination,accuracy all
see slight enhancement. The user envokes the name of the spirit there spirtual presance becomes a physical ball of energy which is pushed into the body usually near the chest.
Preforming this move costs 2 Act and 6 MP. A single Spirit is then fused with Yoh, and it's effects kick in for better or for worse.
The total level of the spirits Yoh has cannot surpass his own current level (Job level included), and he can only have 2 with him at a time.
When Yoh takes new moves, he can also 'Key' them to a spirit he knows, making them more effective while using that Unity. He can also use an Ability slot to 'Key' preexisting abilities to other spirits.
Spirit Medium: Pays the cost of Unison, multiply the the maintainance cost by 1.5, and focuses their power into a weapon that bolsters every action taken at the cost of half the base Spirit Unison maintainance cost. The bolstering effect is different for every Spirit and depends upon the action being taken. Can only be used while in Unison.
Light Sword Proficiency (any sword light enough to be used one handed)
Celestial Slash
A slash performed by Yoh & Amidamaru when they first achieved 100% spirit unity. A straight curved wave of energy is released and sent forward toward an enemy threw the air.
+6 Cutting damage, 4 MP.
Parry: Costs 1/2 Act. Add weapon power to Dodge or Defense (weapon power is treated as a buckler or armor bonus, respectively) Be careful not to break the sword.
Fox Raid (Fenn Unison Only): Due to Fenn's high affinity for Illusion, this move is practically free. It costs only one Act and 5 MP to maintain it for (Run level) Turns. The trapped enemy cannot move unless he somehow breaks free, and any attempts to do so allow a free attack of opportunity by Yoh, which will be made from behind 25% of the time. Yoh can choose to end the move in order to stop directly behind the foe, leaving them Stunned for a precious moment and open to attack.
Greater Spirit Control
Reduces MP costs of any Spirit Unison move by 3 MP or by half, whichever is smaller.
7.Halo Bump -Key Spirit- Amidamaru. Yoh in spirit medium form has amidamaru's shoulder armor slam shut together forming a large shield. With large condensed spirit energy you smashes it against an enemy with moderate knockdown force. Its amazingly useful moreso however in deflecting incoming attacks.
Only doable in Spirit Medium form. This move costs 10 MP to preform and 2 per turn to maintain the shield, which acts as a Full Defense with 1 HP, but allows Yoh to use movement skills and items, though he can't use attack items. When 'destroyed', the shield instead jolts forward with great power, dealing BLUDGEONING damage equal to the damage of the move that destroyed it, with a Knockdown chance equal to this. Use SPwr as the base stat.
If he wishes, Yoh can simply end the attack early and slam with the shield for a cost of 6 MP, dealing +6 BLUDGEONING damage with SPwr as base stat, and Knockdown chance equal to 6+ his SPwr Bonus, which is applied to the damage.
8.Spectral Veil -Key Spirit- Pachi With this while in spirit medium they spread out there furyoku and pachi's power let them manifest into images a powerful distraction technique with this yoh can make an opponent believe hes been attacked or taken an attack. Even been killed by in attack when hes infact making his advance.
For 5 MP each, form up to 3 illusionary clones of Yoh. Each clone is assigned a number, and Yoh secretely assigns himself a number as well. When targetting Yoh, the enemy must select which one. The clones have no substance and cannot attack, and will not survive even the slightest shock, but they make a great distraction, as they can move as one and enemies will only be able to react to one at a time. For every clone active, 2 MP cost per turn.
9.Spirit Medium Full Power. While in spirit medium yoh feeds his furyoku energy into his spirit causing the spirit to temproarly gain a semi-spectral corporeal form. During this time the spirit is at its pinniacle level and can strike at its full power briefly. If knockdown or dazed this is broken and yoh has to draw out even more furyoku to give the spirit the ability to do it once again. This is essentially the strongest a spirit and shamen can become at this level directly allowing the spirit to wield the weapon. For amidamaru he appears aura like above you litrally holding the spectral blade they have formed and strikes with all there power. For pachi his eyes give off black glare as he slashes his claws causing a black paw wave to wave across the field. This is far more powerful then a typical unison however its dangers lay in its rapid depletion of a shamens energy and its only used in a dire momment of shamens not yet on a more refined level. (This cost -should- be massive. Like a couple of levels can drain away yohs HP or mp.) Yoh cannot wield two swords when using this with amidamaru.
Yoh can use this attack when out of spirit unison, as long as his HP is below 75%. When preformed, he uses 1/3 of his max MP, 1/10 of his max HP, and selects one of the Spirits with him. The expenditure determines the power of the attack. Yoh cannot use Unison for one round after using this attack, and the spirit he teams with cannot be used for 2. Apply all bonuses that a normal Unison has when calcing the following attacks, times two.
Amidamaru: Strikes with a single massive sword, holding it together and unleashing it upon one enemy. The base stat of this attack is equal to Yoh's Power stat plus the MP spent, and the sword's power is equal to the sword Yoh has equipped plus the HP spent.
Pachi:Yoh strikes a single target for normal damage with his claws, with his HP spent added to the weapon, and a massive black paw follows up with a second attack, with a base stat equal to MP spent and the same weapon damage as his own strike. The second hit strikes every enemy on the field at full power.
10. Spirit Regen - Allows yoh to regen furyoku over time. (mp regen) Full slot passive. Yoh regains half his SPwrII Bonus in MP every round on his own turn..
