Machinery is a misleading word to use, because you can make things besides machines with it. Machinery mostly consist of putting together already created parts...For isntance, you can use Crafting to make some rope, Compounding to make gunpowder, and Smithing to create a bombshell, and then make a Bomb out of those three parts. All machinery requires engineering tools.
Bombs: Creating bombs with machinery is a crude but effective skill. Whether its a simple fuse and gunpowder explosive or a nuke, you can create it using the Machinery talent. Creating bombs requires a triggering mechanism, a shell, and something that explodes. For instance, you could make a simple black bomb out of an iron sphere, a fuse, and gunpowder.
Programming: Creates programs. Requires a disk to hold the information. Programs are usually very specific, and you have to state what you wish to program to do in the most specific way possible. Simply stating you want a program that makes a robot walk may get you a program that makes the robot walk...And never be able to stop.
Machinery: Creates an item with moving parts, such as robots or clocks. Again, you must be very specific. Machinery requires a power source and materials to make it out of.
Power Sourcing: Creates power sources, put basically, batteries. again, BE SPECIFIC. You need materials as always, and a good plan. Be creative!
